I don't buy much factory ammo outside of hornady, and recently I needed some subsonic 300 blackout so I picked up some 220 otm Winchester.
I was just now cleaning this brass and noticed the headstamp was good ol lake city.  I know Winchester runs the lake city plant, but I didnt know that they would use brass in a Winchester box.

I assume Winchester also uses LC  for 223 brass?  Maybe 7.62X51 possibly?

Have yall noticed the same?

Is it this brass? I have found them to be consistently short. Just like FC brass found in the black Federal 20 round boxes back in the day.

Yes Winchester will sell their branded stuff with components and ammo made at Lake City, just like Federal did.  Plenty of “FC” brass that is LC brass.
