Seems like everyone is getting their forms approved far faster than mine are. I have two in since 1/18/23. As of today, that's 136 days.
Who's waited longer and how long was the wait? I think I've seen some forms turned around in less than 30 days. Who's waited less, and how long was it? |
|
|
All but one of mine are done. I received two back a day apart from different examiners.
The one I submitted Feb 7 is still outstanding and the only one I did not submit pics with. |
|
|
January 16. Paid. No word yet.

13 Jan for the win?
I submitted 5, got 4. Maybe Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Tanner could help me out. |
|
|
I know I'm not gonna win, but I'm at 104 days and counting.
Efile form 1, paid, eft prints. Filed 2/19/23. Guess it's in purgatory, idk. Have a final decision form 1, filed 2/23/23. Purgatory for that one as well. A friend filed a final decision form 1, efile, eft prints, and got it back in 29 days ETA I filed 2 more form1's, both efile, paid, eft prints, on 6/2/23. Bet they come back before the other ones in purgatory. Ones a suppressor, ones a SBR |

I got through research and approval faster than that. That sucks.
2/3-5/24 for research and approval. |

Jan 19 for 2 for me. eForm, free, individual, EFT files
Others are reporting less than a month. One guy claimed about a week. Typical screwed up ATF mess. I wrote them about it - they did reply, but just said they are too busy to look anything up. |

not a peep on any of them. |

I dropped a Form 1 the day the rule came out to test if they were prioritizing the brace rule over Form 1s. I received approval on 19 May.

Submitted 2/13/23
Eform 1 SBR Paid Trust 1 RP Paper Prints (confirmed received). Nothing at all. Not even a change in status. Starting to get worried, but glad I'm not completely alone here. I waited 13 mos. on a Suppressor Form 4 last year. The whole situation is ridiculous. |

Form 1 - Paid, Trust with 2 RP, paper prints - submitted on January 15th and still waiting.

Serious question: What's the longest this has gone on but been approved? 150? 180 days?

2 paid eForms with paper prints (SBR &SBS) - submitted 1/13 with prints received 1/17. I’m at 139 days as of today. Am I the winner?

If not, you're close. Prayers my friend. Hope they approve you (and everyone on this thread) soon.

At least I'm not alone. I'm only at 124 days.

Paid E-Form 1 SBR, individual, paper prints. Submitted 1/28, still waiting. I'll be submitting another one in the near future. I guess we'll see which one gets approved first.

I'm not far behind you. Efile with paper prints, paid and submitted 1/25/23. Not a brace amnesty. Had another Form 1 approved just prior too.
It seems they just dropped those in our date range. |

I have been thinking about withdrawing and resubmitting mine that was submitted/pending on 14 January but I keep expecting it to get some sort of action any day now.

View Quote I'm in the same boat. I don't want to go to back of line unnecessarily. But I read some people have just double submitted, while one is still pending. Does anyone have experience with this? Does it work? Can it get you in trouble? Is it faster/slower/same/luck-of-draw? |

Jan 17 amnesty form 1, still waiting
ETA electronic prints and paid forms submitted the same day were approved in around 45 days |

I have since applied for and received my 07 FFL, I have bought and sold guns as an FFL. In two weeks, I'll have my SOT which will make this whole situation even more ridiculous. |

Not sure if this is helpful, and I don't know exactly when website changed, but the RP Questionaire form changed slightly in Jan. 2023. I realized my application used the older form, which I'm 99% sure I downloaded from ATF in early February. But if this is helpful to anyone, note the new form at link below.

Do y'all think using older revision finger print cards would be considered acceptable? Has anyone ever had one rejected for using an older fingerprint card?

|
...and if a bullfrog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass all the time.

When did the fingerprint cards change?
|
|
|
These two are different, but nothing pertinent. And are both older than the ones that I sent in.

It’s always a waiting game w NFA. Just forgot about them and it will be a nice surprise when approved. I’ve had stuff take over a year I think.

Anyone in here get anything back yet? Any movement?
