Got one, yay! First time I've gotten something with a re-stock notice.

Maybe now I'll win a raffle.

Already popping up in the EE with mark ups.  The next time Atlantic releases these they should probably just put the price at $450 up front.  They would still sell them all.

Mine arrived today, looks good, fits really nice.

Mine arrived today as well.  I thought it odd that an acquisition date of January 2023 was on the bag.  I wonder if that’s the date it was imported or the date Atlantic had it at their facility?

Got mine.

Very nicely made, same amount of "wobble" as my F stock, which is to say not much at all.

Got mine today. Fit was perfect. Push pin just needed a bump from the heel of my palm. I haven't had a German version in my hands for years, but I see nothing on this one that gives me any pause. But I don't examine mold flash with a macro lens, either. Zero wobble, super solid. Very happy.

Mine says arrived, looks like usps delivered it to the wrong house or lost it.  Just my luck.

Arms Unlimited and some other places have genuine HK ones for that price or less.

They might have the A3F but not A3.

Fair enough.  I still think the Turkish made stocks are overpriced at $350, but they sell so apparently they aren’t.

I think I forgot why the A3 was considered more desirable…Is it?  Or is it a Die Hard thing?  Which is a legit reason; just curious.

It's the original collapsing stock for the platform. Made as an afterthought now with extremely limited runs. Cool and Nostalgic. John McClane.

Looks like ass, adds like 3/4" to an already too-long LOP.

And the MP5A3 is a classic gun in it's original configuration.

I have no problem with people who want to modernize it for better performance, it's certainly still capable.

But, to me, putting an F stock on anything but a .40/10mm or F-clone is like putting a CTR on an XM177e2.

Just...wrong.

The original A3 stock "fully" collapses, for the shortest overall length, which is what most people want in a collapsing stock. Subjectively, most people find the A3 stock's minimalistic, purposeful profile to be preferable to the F stock's more protruding, cluttered look.

The A3F stock collapses "sorta 3/4 of the way", due to its longer plastic butt section and longer stock rails. It also has a rubber recoil pad, which adds length, makes an ugly stock even more ugly (subjectively), and is functionally just a bit ridiculous on a 9mm P shoulder arm.

I was headed home from work with my phone in my hand and got the notification. Didn't hesitate and got the order done in about 3 minutes. I've been waiting months to get one and just lucked out. Fit is tight with no wobble.

I dislike the F stock because the LOP is basically an inch longer than the original A3. It’s over 14”, this is incredibly stupid for any practical purpose you’re using an MP5 for… The old A3 was a little over 13” LOP. Also the F stock adds unnecessary weight. I just don’t understand why HK made it like they did, I understand the French were using spicier ammo but you probably could have just made a little better buffer and used a stronger spring for that.

I never get to these in stock but then again I have a German one so I wouldn’t want to hose one of you guys who doesn’t have one just so I could get a spare. I’m glad these are good to go, hopefully more are imported!

Not to derail, but this goes over the F model well including the stock differences... https://smallarmsreview.com/the-new-hk-mp5f-submachine-gun/

Ordered one June 28 and it arrived July 1. Fit and finish seem great. Snug fit onto my PTR. No wobble when extended. Sold an HK version a few years ago and had regretted it. This is on par with my old one.

The angle of the buttpad of the F stock is far superior to the A3. I love the looks of the A3 and have them on a couple 94s. But the ergonomics of the F stock beat the A3 in my opinion. There are also 3 and 4 position F stocks if you want a shorter LOP.

@ATLANTIC-FIREARMS

Do you expect MKE to make a batch of HK33 stocks again?

Although I dont expect you to share, I sure hope production and importation of the T-43 series pistol is on the agenda.

But I notice that MKE also makes an MP5SD clone.  Have you guys given any thought to importing the pistol sans suppressor and having a "clone correct" type suppressor made in the US and sell it as a package?  I think you'd sell every one you offered for sale.
