They might not call it a GB model but it's close enough for government work. It's kind of pricy too. |

Love it when a plan comes together.
$1850 is a bit steep, but used ones go for about $1500. Too bad it’s illegal in my commie state. |

The price includes a free IQ test. Because if you pay $1850 for one you might be retarded

Gentlemen, please. Cogburn Arsenal can provide an aftermarket solution.

If you don't like M7 bayonets, I think you could have it fitted for M14 bayonets or the Swiss 57.

Have both stocks or sell the original on ebay, if you're willing to pay that much for the gun. https://ruger.com/products/mini14TacticalRifle/specSheets/5819.html https://www.samson-mfg.com/a-tm-folding-stock-for-the-ruger-mini-14-copy.html |

I'm still watching some local shops with good used turnover for a Mini30 to do this.... |

New rifle will run you about $1100. The Samson stock is around $300, so $1400-ish to put one together. Ruger tends to have a high MSRP, street price will probably be a couple hundred less. Maybe more. Still an expensive proposition. Probably sell a few hundred, maybe a few thousand.
Part of me wants one, I have a soft spot for Minis. But to much other stuff on the list. |

I like bayonets but I don’t need a bayo lug that bad. Hopefully though, this means we’ll be able to buy some factory nickel 20 round mags from Ruger soon. Stainless Minis just look right with silver mags. |

Aside from the cool A-team vibe, I never found the folding stock to be very practical. Had a stainless Mini long ago and had the Falcon folder on it, which was pretty much identical, except for the pistol grip. Shooting with the cheek on a tube wasn’t particularly comfortable, and when folded and locked the folded buttplate left an impression in the wood around the lug it locked into. Not for $1800, no way.
But if you want to fire folded and not hit anything, just like the A-team, I guess it’s an option. |

I'm glad to see it back. Ruger should have brought this back with the AWB sunset.

Bayonet on folding stock mini was impractical back then and now too. |

I really hope Ruger will start offering the nickel-teflon magazines for sale. The Mini series needs good corrosion resistant magazines. I'd also love for Lancer to make magazines for the Mini series.

Now that the "brace" matter should be settled for a while, I would hope for two things:
1. Ruger to offer the mini-14 in a Pistol version with the front sight top for the gas block and 11" barrel 2. Samson to offer a side folder with a tail hook instead of shoulder butt. |
