[Last Edit: NSEGE]
I have a barrel labled as 10mm, but it's in fact short-chambered for 40S&W, so I'll need to ream it out another 0.142+.
The question I have is can I use a piloted finish reamer or will I have to use a roughing reamer and finish with a finish reamer?

I have access to a lathe.

NVM, I don't see any of the usual rental places (Elk Ridge, 4D) that have a distinction between reamer types so I ordered a floating pilot 10mm reamer from 4D.

A Finish reamer is all you need.
