Maybe Sig is waiting on the status of the MPX-C and if it's good to go, all will be released at one time.

I heard today from a Sig Sauer rep that the MPX pistol has started shipping as of last month. Has anyone seen one in the wild yet? I sure haven't.

Heard yesterday unlikely before year end. What's your source for this info? My source was Sig Sauer Customer service, but seems like they don't know what they are talking about. And that was when I was told that they were already shipping. |

it's now a race between this and the saiga-9. first one I can get my hands on wins

This was the email that I received today from Sig Sauer "The MPX-P which can also be owned by civilians is out and shipping. The MPX-C does not have a release date at this time. I apologize for the confusion." |

There is not much for secrets with this stuff. |

Press event at Sig today. Soldier Systems and Richard King Photography are there. I'm not sure if any other journalists are there.
Link to Facebook Looks like an earlier prototype. Slick side upper and no QD at the end of the receiver. |
So what's the story from the event? Are they going to sell this damn thing to us?
Is it hypocritical that I hate when sig put's those cheap reddots on their rifles at shows and what not, but I mostly use primary arms stuff myself?

Thanks for the update! That brace certainly lacks the style of the retracting stock. A large percentage of these will be Form 1'ed immediately. |
So will you be able to buy the pistol without the folding arm brace? I am going to Form 1 it and don't want the added expense of the arm brace if I don't have to.
I played with the retractable stock at the shot show and it's a very cool and rugged system.

I work at a Sig distributor, I will post pics, in this thread, they day we receive the first batch.

So do we know for sure what type of rail these will have? Will it be a KeyMod??

Someone should make keymod hole covers... anyone? Edit- nvm there are some out there |

LDD over at Sigforum was an attendee and wrote a nice review of the factory tour. He explained that specific model was an early prototype and on display in a meeting room. It also has the longer right side safety selector. He also broke the stock Sigforum A full review of the MPX is also coming. |

Am I missing something or does that not really sound all that great while suppressed....maybe it's the echos or background noise. Would like to see some dB readings while suppressed. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Looks like defrev uploaded 23 videos on the MPX and MCX as well. Guess what I'm going to be watching for the next hour or so.

I see Cabela's has lowered their prices a little on the MPX-P, but still shows it as a 4.5" barrel which I believe in not correct. Should be an 8" barrel and the 4.5" is the K model. Maybe they are very close to shipping.

I just noticed that Sig's website shows the specs, including the MSRP for the MPX-P. When did they do that? The last time I looked, I don't think they showed MSRP and such.
Maybe we're really getting close |
why not just by the K kit? Nice option to change it around. The kit will come with the barrel, shorter handguard, magazine and bolt depending on caliber. I plan on sticking with 9mm.
