They will just make you sign a waiver and ship direct to you as LE. No need to do a P.O. through your department and what not. Just realize that legally, if you buy a full power laser, the laser belongs to your department and NOT you, even if you paid for it. Really only an issue if you change departments with the year of warranty and need service. Manufacturers will want to ship back warranty claims to your PD address. Many warranties are not transferable, even if you transfer it to your new PD and paid for it. Just be aware. |
