At least that's what one of the PSA guys in Dallas told me today.

ETA:

Evidently I was told wrong-fake news according to the main man.

No, the main H&R guy wasn't there at the time.

Sweet!
I started building one of those, but it ended up looking like this;
Attachment Attached File

So I’d like to have one of these new offerings.

The DOE is happening for sure, the LMG is still a weak maybe.

Tooling cost for that handguard is ridiculous.

I saw the DOE.

At least I asked an employee.

If you do the A2 LMG, do the Marine Corps version.
If fired from an open bolt and thus, had no forward assist.

I found an upper years ago and built this:

Mike, don't let H&R lose a customer, it turned out super bad for PSA! LMG must be made! It's not too late to fix things

I've got to imagine that the cost versus payoff for a Colt-clone H&R LMG is not worth it.  I love my retro AR builds and they include a 601, 604, 607, 610, 629 among others...  (and I've spent thousands of $$ - quite literally - over the last couple months on H&R stuff) but frankly, a Colt LMG clone hasn't ever interested me.

Not knowing a ton about the 750, it seems like there are a lot of parts that would be unique to that specific gun (rather than other AR's) and would only sell for building that specific gun, which translates to them being pretty expensive to tool up and produce given the likely smaller market share and interest.  Probably the same reason H&R doesn't offer a 607 stock or 607 specific parts outside of the receiver (which only requires different labeling, so not expensive).

This is exactly why.  Sven at Manticore Arms came to this same conclusion when they considered making a small run of these rifles a year or so ago.

After the DOE comes out, we can have hope for a semi-auto M231 from H&R (the one without the wire stock).  How bout it Mike?
