TA33R-8 in a LT mount, been abused like hell and its still fully functional and holds a zero.  I'd expect nothing less from Trijicon.

I was looking at the pictures here and was wondering how are some of you getting any kind of sight picture with your sights mounted so far forward on the upper. I have a TA31 that I'm thinking of trading or selling because or the eye relief and then I look at some of the pics and wonder "What am I doing wrong"?

It's all relative. The TA31 had great FOV, the TA33 has terrible FOV. Pick what's most important. I shoot NTCH so the 31 eye relief didn't bother me but the tiny FOV of the 33 did.

*Coming from experience, I've used both.
*Also IBT" I use my 33 with both eyes open so FOV is infinity " people

The TA33 is definitely lacking in the FOV, but I have owned a TA31, and prefer the eye relief and smaller size of the TA33.  I'd like to have a 3.5x model as well, as you get better eye relief and FOV.

If you are looking for a deal on a 2.5-10x green, mil-dot (pictured on my 308), let me know. I might be willing to move it to stay consistent with my 700

Sucky picture time.

I like the TA31 with a RMR combo. I sent this in a while back because I was having issues with the adjustment, and Trijicon basically rebuilt the sight, including new tritium, without charging me. I don't know why, but I'm not upset about that at all.

Has a very MP5 look to it, but with an American twist.

Interesting. I thought it might have been some kind of ambi mag release but wasn't sure.

I think Stickman is confusing which picture you are asking about. That is a 9mm AR lower that uses Glock mags (Darkstorm?), the bar across the side is the magazine release as the catch notch is on the right side on Glock magazines while its on the left side on AR mags.

ETA: Its a Spartan 9mm billet lower.

Ah ok. Don't own a Glock so I never would've thought about that.

Thanks
