I have also run the LT681 and they both work really well... excellent return to zero in my experience. Does anyone have a new ACOG? I don't really get what they are doing with the illumination on the new ones based on their animation. Is the reticle fully lit at night but the fiber optic only supplies illumination to the upper part of the reticle during day light conditions? Just got it about a week ago. In darkness, using only the tritium, The chevron tip down to about the 400 meter stadia is full brightness. Then from 4-6 is like half lit. This image kind of shows what I mean. There is a 45 degree angle in the step down in illumination. ( probably due to the angle of the prism, which I read is close to 45°. )
