Click on your uploaded picture. On the right you will see various options. Choose this one:

In the description above it it says message boards and forums (which this is a forum). Paste it into your comment. Hit preview to make sure it worked.

Does the PMC stuff shoot pretty consistently for you?  I'm thinking about picking some up to try.

To be honest I don't have a ton of experience with match ammo but between Federal 77gr Gold Medal Match and this PMC 77gr X-Tac Match I've had better luck with the PMC. Even though as I understand it they are the same Sierra projectile.

This will just about do it for AR pattern Rifles for me. I think I will just pull the Block II uppers off the EE and keep them and call it done.

Have a great weekend guys.

This is a great looking rifle. You don't see that MK8 very often on builds. Very refreshing. Hope ya got a good deal on it.

More of a short recce. It shoots well with good ammo and I'm looking forward to stretching the legs on this thing till the bullets fall out of the sky. Based on rough numbers I should be good velocity wise to 400 at least.

I went with a Primary Arms 1-6x24 Gen III on my 16". It's mounted on an ADM Recon-H mount to clear the IR laser.

Im also having trouble getting this pic to post on here. It shows up in the preview but when submitted it's in script

Replaced the SF4P with a SFCT, looks like that may turn into a cqbr upper. So lonely with no upper to go on.

Bought it to replace a Nightforce 1-4 to reduce a little weight.  A little fish eye at 1X when targeting up close, but very clear through the full 1-6X range.  I will add that that the illumination was not as daylight bright as a VX-R that I also own.  A call to Leupold, an RMA with shipping label, and about two weeks later with a new illumination chip is as nuclear daytime bright as the VX-R.  Leupold customer service is outstanding.

The top is a Mk6 3-18. Either a TMR ret or Tremor 2. I'm a big fan of that scope and have one one a .308.

Sorry the lighting on the first picture really sucked.....The builds are.......

16"
Burris XTR II 1-5
BA 16" barrel
Geissele MK8
Larue MBT trigger
The rest should be easily visible from the pic

20"
Leupold MK6 H58
Lilja 20" barrel
KAC URX4
VLTOR upper
KAC Ambi lower
Geissele DMR hi speed trigger

Should have the Lilja broken in tomorrow night, and out to the range Monday if I get the time!!!  Based on Lilja's reputation and the performance of their barrels that I have personally seen, I am expecting that thing to be an absolute monster.  I sold an SR25 off to move to Grendel, so I sure hope so.  BA basically guarantees MOA or better, so hopefully the 16" I got lives up to that.  I haven't shot these, but I have to say from what I have seen thus far, 6.5 Grendel is a really sweet round.

Recce shooting:

100 yards

The groups could've been better but I was shooting like this:

Actually it was this:

And actually that smallest group was from the bench.  But that ammo was the best Ammo.  1"  Federal Gold Medal Match.  Nice.

This thing is pretty rough currently. I still need to get a 1-4/6, an lt104, an A2 flash hider, and a MIAD, but it's finally shootable.

Thank you sir!

Yes I have found that the bipod and a rear bag works better for me that a front and rear bag for whatever reason. And now I don't have a choice because I burned a hole in my front bag and all the fill material spilled in my trunk. It was a hell of a mess.

That would be set up like a "traditional" Dissy barrel. Quite a few reports of having that little bit of barrel past the gas port creates reliability issues. That's why 99% of Dissy's are mid-length.

Rifle length 16in are very reliable. I had one. Rock creek rainier barrel. Killer accurate. Just looking for some pictures to reference with the rail and barrel setup.
