I wanted to go first class without breaking the bank on any component. I also wanted everything to come from the good ol' US of A. I paid for that but have no regrets supporting my countrymen.
This project was meant to be my "swiss army knife" in firearm form, It wasn't supposed to be the best of anything, but good at everything. I feel I have succeeded nicely. FYI I'm a lefty as well, hence the need for ambi components Here's my spec sheet: Tactical Innovations matched upper/lower set with STBA preinstalled Adams Arms Midlength and Ranier bolt and NiB coated cam pin in carrier Ranier Select 18" in 5.56 with Troy Medievil FS Ranier Raptor ambi charging handle Magpul UBR with striker Hogue pistol grip Spikes NiB coated fcg with RRA small internals and Ambi safety ATI spring with Spikes T2 heavy buffer (FYI bad bolt bounce with a standard buffer, this cured it) Magpul BAD 1 of only 1 Diamondhead midlength VRS-T hand inletted for the AA gas block legit Grippod Leupold 3-9 x 40 Firedot Other than the initial issue of needing an H2 buffer to cure the bolt bounce this thing hasn't missed a "stroke" since! Just finished my first build BCM 14.5" standard mid length upper with centurion c4 rail, pws fcs556 comp, and mod 4 charging handle seekins forged lower with spikes tactical enhanced lpk Magpul miad grip and acs-l stock. Have two more that I need to complete just waiting on barrels

I'll call it a team effort. I'd love to take all the credit but my brother is a jet engine mechanic so doing things perfectly is the most important part of his job, so between my plan and his steady hand the cutting was done. I touched up the bare metal with flat black high-heat engine paint and applied the texture with spray bedliner. I love the look (very similar to the grip and the stock) and it feels great in hand. It's nice to see a plan come together in reality like it started in my head.

Nothing special just my 300 BO. The lower is a forged seekins, it is being replaced with a Billet Seekins.

The top one is a build from 2008.
Barrel is 22" 204 Ruger from JP Ent The upper is a DPMS slickside (with felt to prevent the brass necks from collapsing when ejecting... reloads) The second rifle has a complete PSC upper from JP Ent and UDE magpul furniture.

Built on an existing Pre Ban lower that had a completely shot out upper.

DD Bolt, BCM Gunfight Charging handle, nothing that hasn't been done before lol. I put a Gieselle Super Dynamic Combat in the lower, which I'm really pleased with. I had the Eotech from my deployment with the FTS magnifier so I used that, and YHM Flip Ups for BUIS. Basic magpul stuff, a gearsector hand stop, fancy VTAC padded sling. Thing shoots the balls, and the battlecomp isn't blasty like I was expecting. |

The 14.5 in the foreground and of course not the PredatAR, was built by me. Not obvious from the picture is the Mega upper and lower and DD lightweight profile barrel, but he rest of the external stuff is pretty easy to discern.... |
