Ok, you might want to correct that Why? It's a 15 inch handguard? Looks like he has em placed around 10-12 inches which is midlength to rifle length. It appears forward of the gas bloc which means they are out of melt worries. As far as I can see if he likes em there, there is no reason to move them. Shap looking rifle! I like how the kx3 looks out on the end. |

Ok, you might want to correct that Really? I should move them? (laf) Of course you should do what you like, I would just think you would want to get that rear sight moved back to the normal location, personally I would want a little more sight radius and room to get the Eotech mounted on the upper's rail. I am sure you'll change it if your currnet set up isn't working though. BTW it is a nice looking rifle. |

The rear will def come back a click or two. But not to far. I have midget hands and the mbus is beefy, perched right over charging handle. Thanks for the compliments! |

It's a Surplus Ammo & Arms / Aero Precision lower. If you go to SA&As website they don't show it anymore. I don't know if it was a limited produciton run or what. I wish I would have bought a 3 pack of them as stripped lowers. It cant hurt to call them and see if they are gonna make more. Picked it up for 84 bucks picked up local and in person. Yes I filled it myself with some Krylon fusion. I can still remove it from the engraving if I ever get tired of it. |

Nice. Could you give some specs on your build. What length barrel do you have there. BCG....? Thanks

I'm not sure if you'd be interested, but I have a flip-up front sight for a Bushmaster Modular Carbine that would fit on your milled front sight base well. With the type of set-up you have, there aren't many options for a front sight, but this one should work great. I ended up putting a different forearm over the FSB, so I didn't need it anymore. I believe it was made by YHM. So... if you're interested, let me know. If you cover shipping and throw me a $20, I'll send it to you. I'll also consider trades. It's a quality sight.
Here are some pics: <a href="http://s1167.photobucket.com/albums/q635/latb0004/FSB%20Modular%20Carbine/?action=view¤t=wahtf.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q635/latb0004/FSB%20Modular%20Carbine/wahtf.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s1167.photobucket.com/albums/q635/latb0004/FSB%20Modular%20Carbine/?action=view¤t=AAAAArjaaA8AAAAAADwOAg.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q635/latb0004/FSB%20Modular%20Carbine/AAAAArjaaA8AAAAAADwOAg.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> |
