Here's my first attempt to build. Looking forward to shooting it later this week.

I had the upper almost 2 weeks before the lower got to my FFL (it was a large group by). Then I had to wait for the required state waiting period before I could take it from the FFL. A lot of anticipation. Hang in there - it's worth it. ––Dan |

It's not uncommon for this rifle to shoot ½-moa 3-shot groups out to 600 yards.

Front sight came today yesterday but i won't be home until Sunday, the Rifle is finally complete once i put my Troy front sight on

Can't believe I missed this!
The fixed rear sight weapon is mine. The Magpul BUIS equipped weapon is my dad's gun. Built it for him out of parts he bought on his own during the ban. Delton lower+LPK Stag stock LMT upper receiver Magpul BUIS BCM BCG If I'd have been smarter i'd have bought a Spikes complete upper for 490$ vs spending a lot more getting a mix up of parts.

I really like the alternating rail protecter colors. that adds alot to it i think! Very nice build!
Im looking at scoping my AR as well. I wanna go out to about 300 yards max. Dang cheap red dot swallows up targets out at 300 yards lol -Chris

My latest build. Sorry about the crappy cell phone pic
mega recievers woa spr barrel magpull stock Troy rail tangodown battle grip (my fav grip) aac blackout can mount for the m4/2000 rra parts kit with 2stage trigger mark ar scope with burris mount put some rounds down the pipe today at 100yards. Shot about 1.25in groups on average and best was one ragged hole with 5 rounds |

My very first build thanks to this forum. Holy crap this was easy and fun! I wasn't trying to build a safe queen or National Match winner or Special Ops Grade weapon, just something to plink with and get the building experience. The best part was when it fired perfectly. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to do this again......and again.............and again.

Ok, Ruger built this one, and I made it better!! Fell in love with it, and decided to keep it and make it part of the collection. This thing has changed alot in the last few months. The joy of building these up for customers is I have parts laying around all the time. Here are a few setups on the same rifle. Attached are a few different ones I slapped together with Charles Daly lowers, Rock River kits, and Stag Uppers with slapped on goodies.
Ruger SR-556 Bolt on goodness! Things you cant see well are the BCM MOD4 Charging Handle, and Urban E.R.T. 1 1/2 sling. Love that sling! Rest should be obvious other than the endplate... How it looks at the momment:

This is not just my first "build," but also my first AR,

It's a LaRue I went with mid length gas on the White Oak barrel. The gas block was kind of tricky to install. Had to put the rail on first then slide the tube and block down inside and rotate the rail to tighten the set screws.

Just finished this one last night. It's not really complete, I want to get the M4 Fat Handguard and I need to find out what sling the Marines are running and get one of those for it.
