Just got back from the range with my new FSP build... Tried some 55gr independence and had 5 FTE's in 20 rounds. Switched to PMC bronze and had none. Can I explain it away on the ammo?

I had issues with Independence ammo as well in the 14.5 Mod 1 SR15. I was getting popped primers which caused various issues and stoppages. Same rifle ran seven other types of ammo with no issues. I'd definitely chalk it up to the ammo based on my personal experience. |

Thanks for the input. I definitely do prefer 62gr, but I was shooting indoors tonight and can't use green tip.
Can't decide which stock I prefer on either of them... I like the weight of the CTR but dat cheek weld on the SOPMOD... 
Going to take this one out tomorrow... Suggestions on a front sight? I'm thinking Magpul Pro (reasonable cost). 
If anyone needs a spare EXPS3-0 let me know |
