Yes, but it's only 1:1000 so not clone-worthy.

Thanks, CD! This one's marked just like the last one. Is the "18-1" designation the same as "Mk18 Mod 1", or would this officially be "18-1"? I realize the property books may be the most official reference, but I'm asking about common usage. I don't see Mk12 Mod 0's called 12-0, for example.

Is that a black 99051 on that weapon?

Be safe!

That definitely looks engraved after the receiver was possibly repainted or refinished. You can see the chatter marks on the straight line from the end mill.

Mk12 Mod 0s haven't been produced in a long time.

I doubt Crane still builds the Mk12 Mod 1

The finish looks really thick on the lower too. Like moly-resin or something.

The punches they use would likely be the Young Bros. brand http://www.youngbrosstampworks.com/about.html You should be able to do some pixel size comparisons with the mag release ridges and the stamping to figure the correct size.

Don't forget to get numbers do the month/year stamping as well

Whatever is on it, looks like doodoo.

Now that he's posted like, 3 of these things, I'd feel confident guessing that they are marked as such in the property books, because I don't see them going through the trouble on that many lowers if it wasn't.

For the record Asmig, your labels are bomb proof (unless you try to peel it off)

I stripped my A2 lower yesterday and caked the label with citristrip multiple times for extended periods, then scrubbed it and around it with a stiff brush. The thing still looks brand new

The NAVY 18-1 is now operationally official to all clone operators that operate. I realize that ATF requires the model number for Form 1's, so unfortunately we can't simply engrave lines through them and add the NAVY 18-1 on our already approved SBR's. However, if someone did so before sending off the paperwork, I think said engraving would work out.    ...list the model number as NAVY 18-1

There's no mil only for the MRDS. Just the non ATPIAL-C lasers, and as of recently the WMX, and some other fancy shit.

LOL I know him, old high school friend. Awesome guy, and I do truly mean that. Special Forces IIRC, was in .mil before 9/11 and re-uped afterwards. I sent him a link to this

FWIW he says he loves the Elcan; it's a "touch heavy" but "super versatile"

And if he's reading, he'll know who I am and probably give me a ration of well deserved shit

But at least I wasn't the one who raided his FB page and posted a photo, so I got that going for me

Tell him to get in here and tell B6 that teardrop forward assists are in fact, in use.

For the record, if he is reading this, I didn't steal his pic either. It either came from a google image search for CQBR, or......ArmedFerret stole it. We will go with option number 2.

* Your barrel brand and length

* Optic used

* Ammunition used (refer to DBM's rule list for challenge legal ammo)

* Your smallest group size of the three targets

* Your AVERAGED total score of the three targets

(for the dumb dumbs, you add the total score of all hits on all 3 targets, and divide by the amount of targets used (3) ) This averaged total is out of 100 possible points.

If anybody wants anything else added to the score card, let me know. I'm open to anything that isn't a given, meaning we don't need distance, shooting position etc, as these are constants.

*******DBM'S OFFHAND CQBR CHALLENGE RULE LIST*******

If these rules don't work for everyone for some reason, let me know.

-50 yards
-10 rounds
-10 seconds (time begins with first shot)
-IPSC paper target
-Standing position
-CQBR clone with appropriate optic or irons
-Only the following types of ammunition may be used (some form of commercial load advertised as such)- M855, M193, Mk262, Mk318 (tell me if I am missing something)

Scoring as follows:

Possible score of 100/100.

Hits in the A zone are 10 pts each. B is 9, C is 8, D is 7.

Shots that do not impact the target receive a score of 0.

Shooters will shoot three separate clean targets, score them and use the average of all three as their score here. This is intended to mitigate the "luck" factor that Stoner mentioned previously.

Ex: a 90/100, a 97/100 and a 99/100 will give you a score of 95.3/100.

Ties go to the shooter with the SINGLE smallest group out of their three.

I actually have that base in tan, the one in the second pic.  Speaking of weird Insight shit, have we talked about these new WMX200's?  I've never seen these.  Looks like a handheld WMX in a modified version of their rotating mount.

EVERYTHING I LOVE DIES.

I actually have that base in tan, the one in the second pic.  Speaking of weird Insight shit, have we talked about these new WMX200's?  I've never seen these.  Looks like a handheld WMX in a modified version of their rotating mount.

It's a positional mount

It alows you to flip the light from parallel to offset,  kind of like a flip over magnifier mount

Great catch, and no, I don't believe we've seen or discussed these before. I'm the one that posted the pic and I didn't even notice it. Thought it was just the standard rotation mount WMX. Kind of interesting, would be cool to find a model number or more information. There seems to be a few different versions of the WMX that are rare and hard to get information on like the IR high-output version. It's a bummer that they're so hard to get ahold of being such a great, versatile light.

Yeah, I've got that part.  I actually owned a rotational mount WMX200 for a while.  This is different than the standard rotational mount version though.

Standard rotational mount:

What appears to be a "clamp" version of their rotational mount:

Notice the three little screws that appear to "clamp" the light in the mount?  It's definitely not the same as the original rotational mount version, as it appears the mount is not integral to the light.

I had an IR-H rotational mount WMX, but traded it away.    Augee has it now.

ETA:  There are a bunch of pics with these weird clamp WMX200's near the bottom of Pg 1000.
