Can't tell if its the 4-16 or 5-25 ATACR. Look's like an older model.

If I were to use a vortex razor on a non fsp build, is there a “correct” mount? And then buis or no buis.  I currently have the razor on a different upper in a AD qd mount.

Just a PSA for the guys looking to add one: Brownells had 24 remaining as of yesterday. This latest batch does have the DD laser etching on the top left-hand corner of the receiver and the metal port ejection door.

Is there not as much interest in Block II stuff as there once was?  I’ve got a NIB RIS II non fsp in the EE that I was sure would sell quick.  Turns out not much interest

Probably a couple of factors.  Mainly GWOT wrapping up and the block 2 being replaced by the URGI.  The ease of E-file might also steer people towards the MK18 route.

Without a constant flow of pics and videos showing dudes using this stuff in war the popularity sort of decreases.  The URGI thread is almost 4 years old and isn't even 200 pages yet.

I took advantage of the Brownells sale a few weeks ago to finish out the PSA M4A1 marked lower I had in the safe, and then it was a whirlwind of money.

The Surefire RC2 is currently in NFA jail, and I'm waiting on taking a "try before you buy" class from TNVC to decide on the laser I want, and I've added the KAC sights since I took the pic.

Finally found my “grail” optic.  I’ve wanted an ACOG ECOS for a long time, however I wanted an older tanodized version that is the darker brown anodizing as opposed to the lighter goldish tan anodizing.

I think it’s a nice fit for the FSP Block II and compliments the Elcan on the non FSP Block II.

They are no longer made. I got my NIB tanodized one off eBay earlier this year. I’ve seen a few listed there since. I’ve also seen 3-4 hit the EE this year. You just have to be on the lookout.

Snagged it off the EE.  They pop up from time to time.  With the popularity of LPVO’s it seems that there are better deals on ACOG’s now.

Just started assembling parts.

Are the KAC Micro Rears CC or only the fullsize?

Good options for light mounts?

USMC marked micro 200-600 for a Marsoc build but keep in mind Marsoc didn’t use the FSP rail, only non FSP.

Full-size 300M, full-size 200-600, or Matech for everything else.

Yes. Major difference is the civilian version is more commonly found with led head which have a different profile on them. Additionally, su233 have tan stickers on them and can be found with serial numbers stamped into them. Su233 are most commonly found with push button rear pates.

The M3x non led and SU-233 are the exact same light but the SU-233 has different stickers, a serial number stamped on it and a cap tether.

Here are images of an issued SU-233 and the m3x I have listed in EE that the stickers were changed on.

I think it’s just a less common optic.  Most either spend less and get an Eotech or spend a little more and get an Elcan.  I’m really happy with it, it’s very easy to be precise with the cross hair reticle.
