Looking to get into my first 300Blk pistol. My budget is probably around $1300. Would you recommend getting a complete pistol, or buying a nice upper like a DD and then adding a lower? It will be my HD weapon. I will be adding a Huxwrx Ventum flow through can on the front, so I won't really need to tune it. Looking at BCM uppers and DD, but would PSA uppers do the job just as good?

For your use, PSA would be just fine. Either of these would be a great start:
PSA Pistol 1 PSA Pistol 2 $480-$560 would leave a lot of room to buy an optic/sights, ammo, plus whatever you need. |

Looking at maybe getting a BCM MCMR 9" upper if I can find them in stock. Add to it a PSA lower with a PDW brace.

just build it up yourself if you've got the tools to do it right.
haven't built a lot, but every ar I have I did myself. next 300blk I build (might be a bit) will have an adjustable gas block and will get a can. looks like aft is responding to congresscritters asking them why >9 month wait times are acceptable. |
