I shopped around quite a bit and nobody comes anywhere close to that deal except for Brownell's, which has them "on sale" right now for $499 + $16 shipping. $599 seems to be the going price everywhere else. |

ETA I was going to suggest ADM because I received an email about 10% off and free shipping, but once visiting their website, I noticed the prices are the same as they are everyday and the 10% off isn't additional to the deals they run all the time... So basically, it's just free shipping. I was going to pick up an MRO because their everyday price is $493 including ADM mount for .MIL/LEO, so I was assuming it would be around $444 shipped with the 10% off... Sadly mistaken.
PSA has an outstanding deal on H1s at $399 too. |

Yeah, adding the T2 to the cart doesn't show a lower price. That's normal when they have a MAP. I almost wonder if there is a code they forgot--have to go back and try micro or something.
The H1 deal is good, but after getting a mount, you're at $475, and you can sometimes get T1s with a mount for $500-525 in the EE...and I'd pay $50 for the unit that seems a bit more robust and doesn't have the white lettering...though I like the 12 daylight settings of the H1. |

Unless you need quality QD or something, T1 style mounts are just spacers with holes in them for screws, and with the exception of the one clamping on the rail, not even threaded. I plan on putting my just ordered H1 on a chinese mount/spacer that I got for free, or on leftover sparc ones, until it tells me otherwise. And I'm a Bobro addict, this just isn't a very precision demanding mount design. |

I personally think the MEPRO RDS is the best SHTF, long lasting (auto-on/off saves LED life), easy to acquire battery, most value for your money optic out there. It's a no-brainer over the PRO for me, but if you care about weight and/or like to leave a 3X on a flip mount sometimes, the Micros are hard to beat.
Note: I don't use a rear BUIS with either--just tube shoot (center target in tube) with the Micros, and use the optic with a flipped up front as a ghost ring out to 50Y....best inside 20Y. |

Anyone having good sales on QD mounts to go with my new Aimpoint H-1s? Primary Arms has an American Defense for $79 (might be cheaper Monday?) I haven't ordered one yet due to the fact that my PSA order is still "processing"......I'm getting that empty feeling about that H1 deal. |
