It has a nitrided SR15E3 barrel cut to 14.5" and the YHM QD brake pinned and welded to get over 16" for obvious reasons.

It wears the Razor 1-4 FFP with the EBR556 reticle. Cerakote Magpul FDE.

Geno had posted an ad a couple years ago, and a good friend of mine bought that barrel and BCG from him. I did the upper assembly with that URX3 rifle handguard, and when I went to test fire it, I found it was the smoothest shooting gun i'd ever run. At that point, I had never shot a SR-15 E3 rifle but it quickly ruined me. I traded a nice scope for this rifle and it's a fun shooter.

There was also another rifle recently done where the builder had gotten his SR-15 E3 barrel dimpled by Marvin Pitts and also cerakoted the receivers and rail in FDE and it came out looking awesome IMO.

Go ahead and start building yours!
