Still plan on adding a FUG and a Millet DMS in a Larue SPR-E mount, but it is to a point where it shoots. I have had these parts around for close to a year trying to decide if I wanted to do a FDE scheme, but I am glad I did.

Old pic. Eotech has been replaced with Aimpoint T-1 micro for plinking. N-cells are useless for sub-zero, cold weather climates. Just had to add that. I used DuraCote on this 3 years ago. Finish holds up great. Optic is 4X IOR. Love the large crosshairs for big game. LaRue SPR-E mount.
Coincidentally, this rig took 2 more whitetail during Minnesota's two-day early season yesterday, with probably a dozen more to come in November's regular season, putting it near the 100 mark. Barrel pictured is a KKF chambered in 6X45. It now wears a 5.56 after current legislation here allows .22 centerfire and up for big game. Built it part-by-part on DPMS stripped lower & upper. LMT and other goodies inside. Never encountered a single malfunction since day one.

I might change out the TA01NSN for something else(I have a TA31RCO sitting here that I need to switch into the larue mount) but otherwise I am pretty happy with the little bugger. |

Pullo1978, is that the Daniel Defense M4 RIS II? Did you paint it? It's usuall darker than that. Also, is it me or is your receiver a little light maroon/reddish?

My LMT painted with Cerakote FDE (H-265)
The Aimpoint scope covers, the rubber Y that retains the Aimpoint caps, and the Magpul rubber buttpad are painted with Krylon Camo w/ Fusion Brown. The MIAD, PMag, CTR, & VFG were purchased FDE; the SureFire G2 was purchased tan.
