I’m seeking recommendations for a closed emitter sight with a (“donut of death”/ 2 moa dot & 32moa circle) type reticle that I can top mount to an ACOG.  Looking  to change out an open emitter Holoson mounted  on 4x32 ACOG (rear mounting) with closed emitter, but want  to retain circle /dot .

I'd probably go with a 509t.

You didn't say what footprint optic mount you have now.

Trijicon RMR footprint mount (4x32 ACOG with bosses).

Would I have to use an adapter plate with the EPS to work on the RMR mount or are there other similar mounts?  I see Partizan makes a similar type mount for the ACRO; does anyone make a direct mount for the Holoson K footprint would work with my ACOG?

You would need an adaptor to work with the EPS. It has the smaller K or RMRcc moubting base. Do the 509. The base fits RMR cut and is closed emitter, has the multi reticle. The SCRS also fit the 509 base and has internal battery, multi reticle, looks more like a micro T2.

Been a while since I bought one, but I'm pretty sure the 509 comes with a plate to use for RMR cuts, so you wouldn't have to buy anything else.

Yeah I have a glock with RMR cut and the 509 comes with a plate to fit it. Double check the description though to make sure. I thought Primary Arms was adding it to the box while Euro Optic doesn't really mention it being included in the box.
