Neat looking AR, tell me more about the muzzle brake. It looks like the metal is paper thin at the front of it.

Yes thats the StrikeIndustries FatComp 03.  And yes I am a little worried about that last vent and how thin it is on the end.  I just liked the real aggressive look to it.  Didn't realize how thin it was till it came in....

Did you have a problem with gas?  I've got the same setup in a SBR and I've never had an issue with gas to the face...

Great lookin pistol. Similar set up to mine. How did you get the rail over the pig?

Rail on first brake on second...tightened by hand then worked up a took to torque it down using the slots in the front. It's a KAK brake instead of a pig but i've done the same thing with pigs i've had in the past.

Not my NOVA trust me i wish it was i'd restore that thing. As of right now I just usually stand on the other side of it and use it as my brass catcher!

p.s. crappy pic but as this is a pic thread...i really need another AR pistol to show off i'm getting tired of posting pics of this one.

Yes. Muzzle device is something I turned on a lathe, it's meant to mimic the KAK flash can but in a KX5 size, it works very well at reducing concussion.
