I can't tell if "We have a winner" is sarcasm or not?  Anyway, I wish it co-witnessed.  I was thinking that an Aimpoint T-1 with a Lrp would co-witness, but then I got a good deal on the CS...

The iron sights on the Benelli M4 are really low, and I couldn't find any info to verify that it would a co-witness with a T-1.  Plus I've got a Messa shotshell carrier on it, which replaces the stock 1913 rail and is a bit taller (you can see the extra height in the picture).  I don't think that any optic will co witness on the Benelli, even on the stock rail (but I'd like to know if I'm wrong), at least the CS sits slightly lower than most Aimpoints (standard AR configuration), and it has the somewhat useable iron sights on top (good enough for a shotgun at short ranges).

It doesn't bother me that much, but it would be nice if the irons on the M4 were still usable; as they're some of the best sights found on a shotgun.  However, I think the next scattergun I'm going to get will be a FN TPS, that should have no trouble co-witnessing.

Saw the picture of all the non functional aimpoints to be 'turned in"/ DXed.

Doesnt say much about aimpoint quality, does it?

And what size sample does that represent smarty pants . Would it pass a chi sq'd test for randomness?

You're right, dont know the population nor what Aimpoint considers to be a normal failure rate. But, I bet that the 44 guys in that unit that might have had their sights go dark at an inoportune time werent thinking about any of the finer academic points of probabliity/statistics/calculus.

Page 10!

Aimpoint PRO + Old style LT-150 (thanks to CJan_NH).  I prefer the old LT-150 to the new ones because it's symmetrical, and when I mount the throw lever on the right it doesn't look backwards...  With the RFB, throw levers will interfere with the operation of the charging handle.

Looks great Westford!

Here are a couple more:

Two Comp M2s-one with the old style LT-150 mount and one with the new style. The old style mount just found a new home on Westford's rifle above-I have a new one to dial in this weekend

Comp M2 with a ARD, sitting on top of a VLTOR CASV hand guard. The rail on the handguard raises any optics a half of an inch, so a low mount is needed for co-witness.  The mount I'm using is an Aimpoint mount that came with my Comp-C.

This is not a great photo of the dot, but you can get the idea of the co-witness..

The ARD has a built-in flip-up cap and also flips open..

My new PRO. Worth the wait. Sighted in today. Just need a good BUIS now. Optic mounted in the mount that came with it....the QRP2. Rifle is basically a DSA ZM-4 (I used one of their blemished lowers matched to one of their ZM-4 uppers.

Here's for all the ones that say the H1 has a different finish than the T1. It does not. The decal is subdued on the T1 but other than the NV compatability and glare they are identical in finish.
