I had originally thought about those types of 123's and 18650's with integrated charge ports, vs throw away 123's and 18650's that require a wall charger. I ended up going with the latter, after reading about the lower battery capacity due to the space taken up by the integrated USB port.

I can't help with manufacturers of those linked batteries, but the above was worth mentioning as food for thought.

Almost all of the rechargable cr123 (rcr123/16340) are actually 3.7volts which is ok for some things but others isn’t. These battery are actually 3v
(The exception to that is surefire rechargeable cr123 those are lifepo4 but they only have  450mAh but are actually 3v)

IIRC, These are the same type of Li-ion battery with a raw cell voltage of about 3.7v, but the little board they install to handle charge control also has a voltage step down regulator circuit to output 3.0V.  Nice for those things that can't handle the higher voltage, only downside though is they usually are limited by how much current draw they can provide, so they might not work on high-drain devices.

I have and use the EBLs
Work in TRL1HL, surefire G2 with LED head, single cell Inforce.

Don’t work in SF scout or 2 cell Inforce

Tagged for interest

I may have blown out a Surefire 3V Aviator, by accidentally dropping a fully charged regular 16340 in it, rather than one of the SF LFP123 batteries (made by K2 Energy)I have. (BTW, SF did repair it under warranty).

Not quite. Newer production red SF LFP123A batteries are made in China, and are only rated for 450ma, vice the 600ma rating the older green ones had.
