Can you tell any difference in suppression between the 2 cans with the naked ear?

Thanks, actually went to my local shop to buy a Noveske chainsaw Lower and saw the Tan Spikes there and it caught my eye. So then I had to build a FDE rifle around it.

It's the top one :-)  I had an aimpoint pro on it but the H1 fits so much better.

Looks a lot like mine. I'll have pics up a little later.

Is anyone getting very good accuracy with subs, at 300 yards with a Noveske 8" barrel?

I am just waiting on mine and wondering what real world results folks are getting at the deeper end of the pool, relatively speaking?

Lobbing bullets gets tricky.

Cant say I have ever attempted that, but a quick calc shows over 160 inches of bullet drop.

I'll play, too.  Mine has a 16" AAC barrel.  It's nice and lightweight––6.5 lbs on the Zebco fishing scale, sans mag.  The lower is a Stag with a standard trigger, and the upper is a non-M4 cut Rock River.  Weaver 1-3x in no-name rings on a YHM riser rail.  Put it together last week and shot it for the first time.  Although I put only 30 rounds down range, it ran perfectly with Rem 115 CTFB, Rem 220 subs, and Hornady 110 Amax.  I thought I might have feed difficulties with the non-M4 cut upper, but it simply ran.

The Rem 220s shot 6" below the point of impact of the 115 grn load at 50 yds.  The 115s shot easily into 1 inch at that distance, even with the crappy trigger and minimal magnification.  The 220s opened up into a group of about 3.5", strung vertically, though the horizontal dispersion was less than 1".

Recoil was pleasant with all loads, though definitely different between sub and super.  With the supers, recoil felt about halfway between .223 and 7.62x39 in the same 16" barrel.  With the 220 subs, recoil was less, and I could feel the bolt/carrier cycling much more softly, though it never choked.  Can't wait to run it on steel targets.
