Looks really good!

I actually saw them on your website this morning.  I linked to it in another thread for a guy who was looking for an Ambi lower.

One of these will probably be my next lower.

You know... it would be really cool if you had an option to laser engrave our Form 1 information on the right side - or under the trigger guard - before they shipped.

Even better if it could be before they're finished, but that's just asking for a logistical nightmare.

NICE- seems it is using almost exactly the same ambi bolt release design as an ADM UIC?

What role did ADM play in the design or manufacturing of this?

What does this weigh? (wish you went LW or offer one eventually...)

I'm assuming the important internal geometry has no tweaks that would interfere with a 9mm mag block or a .22 kit?

I still have some of those from my RRA 9mm days. I should dig out those mags.

Mmmm I'm somewhat drooling over the Blackout SBR / GP7 combo.

I'm drooling heavier over the Mk2 11.5". Have CS sub in a fluted barrel and I'll be spending my beer money with a smile.

I talked to someone about a factory SBR lower, and it was shot down.  It is all work and no profit, and it raises the cost of the lower.  We will sell factory SBR rifles though.

I was excited right up until I read "Colt."  Any chance of a Glock pattern lower at some point, or is that an either/or type production decision?  (For that matter, what drove the initial decision?)  That would be a lower that I don't have to work to come up with a reason for buying.  Got a few Glock pattern 80% lowers I did that I'd like to swap out for something more ... in-spec.  I mean, maybe I could learn to love another 9mm magazine by the time it comes out...

Now, I gotta get to ordering one of those Gen 2 lowers...

I definitely like the design of this, particularly this style of ambi bolt catch/release.

Another thing I also like, is the utilization of a standard mil-spec magazine release. Many ambi lowers seem to use proprietary setups, which for those of unfortunate enough to live in CA or travel there to shoot, severely limits your mag lock device options, should you choose to go that route. With how this is designed, it appears options such as the MagLatch or ARmaglock + kingpin could work in the receiver and function normally. Have you guys messed around with anything like that in your testing? I'm in the middle of moving out of CA, but if I was staying, having a nice ambi receiver compatible with my mag lock systems would be a huge upgrade.

I laid hands on one of these earlier today.
It's a nice, deep black and looks quite nice.
It's the next item on my Worth Eating Ramen For list.

FDE / DDC is nice.
I would like to see the occasional run of FDE this's and that's now & again.
There's only one detail you have to become one with.
Every bit of FDE is nice.
Every bit of FDE is great.
Every bit of FDE is its own special shade.
Sig, FN, Geiselle, and probably every manufacturer that doesn't paint it on has come to terms with this. Matchy-Match is just not possible. Some of us lean into that fact and enjoy the contrasts. Others just put a few FDE/DDC parts on and call it a day. (See URGI)

@Green0 are there any close up pics available which show the fencing under the left side mag release and if that fencing sits proud over the paddle? And a view from the right side of the paddle?

I'm looking for a couple new lowers and would love to standardize on the MK2, but have some minor PTSD from having an (unnamed) ambi mag release continually snagging on my chest rig during a class and causing mags to inadvertently drop. So one of the non negotiable features I'm looking for on whatever I wind up choosing is to have the left side mag release have a good fence around it. This is the only checkbox left to tick on the MK2. If these will meet my requirements I plan on registering as a first responder on your website and snagging a couple new lowers. Thanks!

I know a guy who has been wanting to do an AR build but is both wrong handed (left) and has hand/wrist injuries. Perhaps this might be a good starting point for a build as he could use whichever hand is bothering him less that day. I will have to show him. Cool stuff!

Fantastic! Definitely some good improvements over the other design.
Thank you for the reply!

I have a question. I am putting together a 16" All purpose rifle with the GA MK2 Lower Receiver as the foundation. Does the MK1 upper receiver offer a tight fit with the MK2 lower? Are you planning on releasing a MK2 Upper Receiver? Thanks.

Will these lowers work with uppers like the Vltor MUR, Sig MCX, PSA JAKL, etc? I know that ADM sells a replacement mil spec sized bolt catch for their lowers but was curious if the Griffin lower would be compatible with said uppers without modification.

What does the side profile of the MK2 bolt catch look like?
This is the one that comes with a JAKL upper - I'm going to guess yours has different geometry inside the receiver?
