Almost pulled the trigger but saw that the Burris 1-8 is now out.  Obviously its more money, but its certainly priced right.

DSG Arms has runs specials.  There's another vendor I won't mention that has had deals.

Disregard I found it, Botach, it shows $579 until you add it to the cart. I've got one enroute and I'll update this thread once I get it.

Why is that vendor unmentionable? I placed an order last week, and UPS is showing I should have my optic in a couple of days. What am I missing?

uhhm well given that a T5Xi is going for $1,400 I won't hold my breath waiting for the P6Xi for $800 but it would be nice. Back to reality, I ordered the P4Xi yesterday from Botach, $479 with the lever. Today I received a UPS tracking # so maybe this just might work out. I know it's a little like buying a ticket on a discount airline and hoping they get you where you wanted to go on the day you wanted to get you there.

I just got one. Eye box is just okay imo, weight okay, good glass for the money, and good eye relief. Reticle is easy to pick up though bdc is quite fine. Red dot works great. Now we just need one of you to test it's durability and how well it holds zero.

For anyone on the fence, I ordered mine from Botach as well. Delivery was exactly one week, and that was including them being closed on the 24th/25th for the Jewish holiday. Hell, they even sent me a courtesy email to let me know my shipment would arrive 2 days later than usual because of the holiday. Prior to ordering, I emailed them to confirm their live inventory on the website was accurate. They emailed me back within 24 hours confirming it was accurate. Not sure what has changed at Botach, but I had a good experience. As for the scope itself, I am very impressed. FWIW, my turrets aren't mushy at all. They are tactile and audible. In addition to the P4XI, I purchased the Battle Steel 35" double rifle case. I'm very impressed with the quality for $50.

Mine just showed up tonight. Gonna test it out on the Scar 17 and see how it does. I can already tell I'm going to like it. I will probably end up ordering another one for my 11.5in SBR.

So how is the glass clarity of this optic vs say an ACOG or a Vortex Razor 1-6, as those are current options for my X95.
Link Posted: 11/2/2016 10:44:04 PM EDT
[#26]
To me personally it is as clear as the vortex 1-6 and acog. I am going Friday to shoot so I will be able to test it at various ranges.

Got mine, mounted in an AeroPrecision lightweight SPR mount.  Love the glass, love the illumination.  Turrets are a bit mushy as noted earlier in this thread.

On that note, one thing I've noticed on mine is that the turret clicks on my windage knob are audible and tactile going one direction, but only tactile (not audible) going the other direction.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Doesn't matter to me a whole lot cause I can still feel the clicks and I usually just "set and forget" on a low mag 1-4x scope.  Still on sale at Botach for $479+ throw lever BTW

Any pics of the rifle? Trying to decide on which Aero mount for this scope and would like to see how much further forward the SPR places the optic versus the extended.

I would get the SPR mount. I have it at the farthest forward pic rail section on my upper and the back of the scope has the most flexibility near the charging handle.  You could probably get away with just getting their extended 30mm version but I like their SPR mounts to give me flex around the positions.  Just my $0.02

Just ordered one from Botach with the throw lever, along with a Larue LT104. The rings on the Larue mount are supposed to be torqued to 30 on the bottom and 25 on the top, right? Really hoping that this does the trick for me - I picked up an Accupower recently (thankfully at kind of steal) but ended up getting rid of it in short order because it wasn't very bright and the segmented reticle is just too distracting. If not, I think I'll just have to settle for an Aimpoint and magnifier.

I judged ordered from DSG for $453 with the throw lever (Mil Discount). It will go in an LT-104. When I first saw one at Bass Pro, I was impressed... Looking forward to it.

If you don't need QD then the Aero's are great.

1/2 the price of a LT and 1/2 the weight.

The LT104 should work. With a 4" eye relief you may want the optic further from your eye

Do you shoot NTCH?

I never did.

I just brought one from Steiner..it's somewhat on sale now. I pay $549 and you get a Steiner lever and cloth. Please note the item number is 5201 instead of 5202. But it comes with the box as an exclusive package. If you don't wanna wait, this is next best thing.
