Well, just got the shipping notice on my plain-jane BCG, now just waiting for the BBT. I remember when people were worried about taking a chance on Stag Arms. This guy was very friendly to me (caveat ---I was friendly to him and expected some delay). Took 2 weeks from order to shipping, so I'm thinking it's a "fire as you bear" thing... shipping as things are availible to ship. I've got a feeling I'll be satisfied, and that after this mess sorts out we'll have another player in the quality game. I chanced Stag, and was happy, I'm chancing RedX and expect a similar experience...

I talked to Neil (owner) at the last gun show in Des Moines, and he mentioned that it was tough getting the chrome BCG's, so I do think that is slowing you down. Bought one of his 20" uppers from him at the time, and put in another order already. He has replied to emails fairly quick if you have any questions.

Pre panic orders were received very quickly and were very nice quality parts. I have received 3 of my 4 post panic orders, but were 30+ days getting but was expected at time of order... Dont hesitate to order from Red X, you will get your parts and you will be very happy with the quality..... |

Three complete uppers, BCG. Barrels, UR, handgards, all of it.... So far I have not heard anything from them. As of today it has been 30 business days. I am curious about the other people who have ordered more recently and gotten their orders already, were you getting partials or complete uppers? |

I ordered a Barrel and Barrel parts on 01-03-2013. I have received fast email returns when I question where its at. I have not yet received anything as of this time but its was eplained that I should expect it within two more weeks.

i placed an order for the .300 aac blackout upper on christmas day and recieved it on 1/6. nice product, i was pleased with quality. i have since ordered the 7.5" upper and a barrel, upper, misc parts on 1/9 and have not recieved yet.
Did not order BCG with uppers |

Yeah I think its a bit strange...
My Order Date was Thu, Jan 3, 2013 21:09:24, for a 16" RXA15 CLASSIC SS UPPER with no BCG or Charging handle. Bare bones and still no shipping yet. It seems like the ship times are all over the place. WMD got me an out of stock .22 conversion kit in between the 20-30 ship time for Red X Arms, just saying. |

Red X Arms called me about a shipping address question on Monday.
January 15th, I ordered a stripped bolt, a complete BCG in 5.56 each, a 16" stainless barrel, a stripped upper and a barrel nut. The guy on the phone said I'll put everything in one box and get it out to you. I received a UPS tracking number yesterday for all the items ordered! I am a happy camper! |

Ordered 2 upper receivers, firing pins and extractors on 1/5 and haven't heard a thing. In all honesty, I think they are full of shit about what's in stock. 30+ days to stick some parts in a box, even under current panic it's a bit hard to believe.

I should mention that everything was listed "IN STOCK" when I placed my order. I sent them an email Thursday 2/14/13 and have not yet heard back. what i noticed, i had a "pending charge" on the 1/11th when i ordered, lasted 2 weeks, then 2/11 i got a pending charge, lasted 3 days, then went it cleared to a actaul charge, i got tracking numbers. and received it today!

Ordered 300 upper half excluding BCG & Charging handle for 390 around 28th of DEC, recieved it about the 12th of Jan. Had no problem with them by contacting through email, but phone call is lost cause. company is up in MN. I'd say they are alright, but they are limited with what they actually have.

i got my upper with forward assist and ejection port cover today, looks pretty nice(just the receiver) it was not a complete with barrel or anything
they did not reply to aay email from me (only sent 1 during the wait, then sent another one after i saw the new pending charge)until after the 11th, and that was that my order was processing and it would ship this week. I actually got tracking the same day, being that they said right on the front page that they were 30 business days out, they followed what they said and came through earlier than 6 weeks actually 1z00767a0390434681, they ship from Starbuck MN 56381, Invoice ID: 0000007683 ordered 1-11-13 shipped 2-11-13 the only bolt i have saw instock on their site was the 7.62 chrome one back when i ordered i think i m going to order another, since in 30 days i might be ready for another, might as well for the cost and the wait. |
