finally got to shoot my Wulf, went through 2 boxes (40) zeroed my red dot, and had fun at 100 yds.
i found after 5 rounds i was flinching a lil bit, then id take a break and fire my other guns, and fire 5-6 more beowulf rounds.
it fed 100% extracted 100% and ejected 100%. It was also very accurate (when i wasnt flinching)
I bought the upper on gunbroker for 535.00 plus shipping. the lower i built on a LAR Grizzly lower, GPSS supplied lower parts kit. Cavarms 6 pos M4 stock, 5.5 oz H buffer, SOG recoil pad, hogue grip and KOBRA red dot.
i own an eotech and an aimpoint, and decided to use a KOBRA red dot for 2 reasons.
1. it is sturdy as hell, have used one on my 2 AKs for over a year and they hold zero just as well as my aimpoint, and better than my eotech.
2 i havent seen a Beowulf with one mounted yet, so i decided to be different.

I thought I would do a few modifications to my previous build:
Olympic Arms T3 Lower
Beowulf 16" Overmatch Upper
OlyArms Milled Scope Rings
Nikon 3X-9X 40mm Camo Scope
Armalite Camo Furniture
OlyArms Pneumatic Buffer
Harris 9"-13" Swivel Bipod
Vero Vellini Camo Sling
Pachmayr Slip-on Recoil Pad

As you can tell, I love Camo.

Hey all will any mid-length hand guards fit the wulf ? Mine has a very noticable gap on both sides at the back and I cant get it to close up no matter what I do !     Thx.

[#7]
If you go with something like the alostyrs (like the ones on mine) there is no gap and they are solid. The factory ones that came with mine were tight.
You can get the Magpul panels or the tango down panels on there and be set.

Well, I'm back form the range.  I ran about 40 rounds through my Beowulf.  I think I will revise my earlier recoil statement (Kicks about like a 12 guage with birdshot).  It's a little stronger than that.  I decided to install an Eotech on the Beowulf and sight it in at the range.  After about 30 rounds, I could feel my shoulder beginning to get sore.  The last few rounds, I was actually beginning to dread pulling the trigger.  It was fun to watch my buddies when they shot it.  I think now that it kicks more than my 270 Remington or more or less like a 12 guage shooting slugs.

Thank you for the compliment.
I take that pretty highly considering the fine weapons posted here.
Yours was the main reason I started this thread so that people could see what was possible with this rifle.
Thanks again,

Well you guys are probably going to tell me I'm nuts but I came up on a great deal on another 'wulf upper and couldn't resist. The disease is killing me and my bank account.
I was inspired by VTDefenders 'wulf, which I really liked, and have close to the same set up he does. I wanted something I could get out and shoot and not worry so much if it got dirty or rained and stuff. And be able to beat around with it too.
Will probably get a brake for it since the price has come WAY down.
Got the VLTOR A2 stock on it, ARMS 58M, Eotech 512 and the G27 grip.
Probably gonna need to find me a VLTOR butt pad for it.
What do you think ?
(also gave me a chance to show off those neat AR15,com patches I got)

Wicked

I think we may be the only two people on earth with SIR equipped 'wulfs now

Well, I really like the SIR on there.
and now that I know which buis to go with (from the other thread) I can complete the picture.
As much as I like this one on the 'wulf, I'll probably end up getting another for my RRA A3.
It's still pretty much just like I bought it.

Waiting to see how much punishment the VLTOR A2 stock will dish out.But I will let you  guys know.

You have no idea how true that statement is white-feather.
You really don't know. The BRD is quite powerful.
Once it's got you under it's spell there is no escape.
resistance is futile.
you will be assimilated.

The mark was from a combination of .50beowulf, many mags through an HK51 and a couple belts through an MG42 on a bipod from prone.

I've made a few changes to my Wulf.  Added a Leupold 2-7X33 scope and a new quick detach mount from Galati International.  Also added a Harris Bipod.  It's supposed to clear up tonight, so tomorrow it's off to the range to zero in the scope.  I'm also testing out some more of my reloads for the wulf.

Won't get to shoot this weekend since I'll be working at the gun show in Charlotte.

Got my 'wulf upper today!!! I put it on a MEGA lower. Doubt if this will be the scope that stays on it, but it was the only one not mounted on something with workable rings. I have an ACE M4 SOCOM stock on back order with DEl-Ton that will soon go on it. Thanks to another thread in this section, I can now post pics . So here comes a couple.

It appears you have way too many guns simply strewn about your shop.  I would be happy to help you alleviate the problem.  Please send any or all the guns to me for temporary storage.

I had my basement flooded by a broken pipe and a little bit of the carpet got wet in my gun/reloading room, so I had to empty one of the safes so the cleanup crew could move it. My house was built in 1955 and the room that you see these rifles in is the room that I use to clean and work on my firearms. It is actually a bomb shelter with 2 ft thick concrete walls, underground, and is accesible from my gun/reloading room. it has a heavy wood door on the inside and a steel door on the outside of the entrance. Kinda' cool.

Hack,
Which front flip up is that on your 'wulf ?
Nice to see someone else with a sir on a wulf.
So far I've seen 3, your, mine and VTdefenders.
I think he's trying to get a buis system figured out for his too.
I've got a YHM I tried on there but it wouldn't fit unless I turned it around backwards.
Mounted the correct way, it will not fold all the way down.

And that's a nice looking rifle too.

Thanks, the front sight is a GG&G and it came with the upper. I have the same sight on a couple of rifles and it works well in conjunction with an ARMS 40/SIR comb, although I have had to modify the plunger on the front sight so I could lower the front post further to make it hit the point of aim with a 223.  No big deal though.
