Hey all will any mid-length hand guards fit the wulf ? Mine has a very noticable gap on both sides at the back and I cant get it to close up no matter what I do ! Thx.

If you go with something like the alostyrs (like the ones on mine) there is no gap and they are solid. The factory ones that came with mine were tight.
You can get the Magpul panels or the tango down panels on there and be set. |

Well, I'm back form the range. I ran about 40 rounds through my Beowulf. I think I will revise my earlier recoil statement (Kicks about like a 12 guage with birdshot). It's a little stronger than that. I decided to install an Eotech on the Beowulf and sight it in at the range. After about 30 rounds, I could feel my shoulder beginning to get sore. The last few rounds, I was actually beginning to dread pulling the trigger. It was fun to watch my buddies when they shot it. I think now that it kicks more than my 270 Remington or more or less like a 12 guage shooting slugs.

Armalite has them listed for $190.
I got mine from Quantico Arms i think they were around the same price. |

Amazing; All of the wulfs look absolutely amazing. Before viewing this thread Id hae never considered buying one, but now.. geeez.
wulf50guy's 50 takes the cake though IMO, in 24" would be the best, but it would sacrafice looks. Very nice hail.gif |
Thank you for the compliment.
I take that pretty highly considering the fine weapons posted here. Yours was the main reason I started this thread so that people could see what was possible with this rifle. Thanks again, Scott w50g |

Wicked I think we may be the only two people on earth with SIR equipped 'wulfs now |
Well, I really like the SIR on there.
and now that I know which buis to go with (from the other thread) I can complete the picture. As much as I like this one on the 'wulf, I'll probably end up getting another for my RRA A3. It's still pretty much just like I bought it. Waiting to see how much punishment the VLTOR A2 stock will dish out.But I will let you guys know. |
Hey I like it! I have a YHM on mine but have thought about changing it for another rail.... Bigant |
Thanks BIGANT , didn't you have the #40 and the yhm on yours?
Did you run into any problems with it. This 'wulf BRD is killing me. that or I'm just a glutton for punishment. |
My 'wulf addiction benefactor has spoken.
It still yours to shoot any time you want to hit the range Stingray. You know I don't mind sharing the babies... |

WHat you need to try is Full Auto right click, save as gmbsc.com/vids/Jbeowulf.mpg |

Yep. I put 8 consecutive 7 round mags through it. Control is about impossible but it's a hell of a fun ride. |
Cool , makes my arm hurt just watching , lol . Thx 4 the vid !
that was intense...!!! I got to get my class 3.... damm I knew this site would only cost me more money...!!!
You have no idea how true that statement is white-feather. You really don't know. The BRD is quite powerful. Once it's got you under it's spell there is no escape. resistance is futile. you will be assimilated. |

Just out of curiosity, are there and flash suppressors for the Beowulf? Thanks!
The mark was from a combination of .50beowulf, many mags through an HK51 and a couple belts through an MG42 on a bipod from prone.
There are a ton more pictures and vids here: www.gmbsc.com |

DO they sell just the lowers?
I would love to have one marked with the correct caliber. |

Nice Ron.
Dang, I would be working tomorrow. Won't get to shoot this weekend since I'll be working at the gun show in Charlotte. Let us know how it goes. W50G |
Humm? A gun show in Charlotte? Sounds interesting. Might have to make that 60 mile trek north this weekend. Is it at the Merchandise Mart on Independence Blvd?
It appears you have way too many guns simply strewn about your shop. I would be happy to help you alleviate the problem. Please send any or all the guns to me for temporary storage. |

I had my basement flooded by a broken pipe and a little bit of the carpet got wet in my gun/reloading room, so I had to empty one of the safes so the cleanup crew could move it. My house was built in 1955 and the room that you see these rifles in is the room that I use to clean and work on my firearms. It is actually a bomb shelter with 2 ft thick concrete walls, underground, and is accesible from my gun/reloading room. it has a heavy wood door on the inside and a steel door on the outside of the entrance. Kinda' cool.

Hack,
Which front flip up is that on your 'wulf ? Nice to see someone else with a sir on a wulf. So far I've seen 3, your, mine and VTdefenders. I think he's trying to get a buis system figured out for his too. I've got a YHM I tried on there but it wouldn't fit unless I turned it around backwards. Mounted the correct way, it will not fold all the way down. And that's a nice looking rifle too. W50G |
Thanks, the front sight is a GG&G and it came with the upper. I have the same sight on a couple of rifles and it works well in conjunction with an ARMS 40/SIR comb, although I have had to modify the plunger on the front sight so I could lower the front post further to make it hit the point of aim with a 223. No big deal though.
