Very nice! I'm glad you guys jumped on board with the M-LOK as soon as you did. I am in need of a new handguard and refuse to have little phalli all over it.
Very much looking forard to this! Can you guys post a side profile pic of the handguard on the rife? |

Cool.
These new lightweight rails are looking "weaker and weaker". I'm not questioning your engineering abilities. If only it didn't cost a fortune, it would be cool to see an independent test throwing these things around seeing how well they hold up. Maybe if I win the lottery I will. |

Now we are talking! There is a lot of rail on top that is NEVER used - good for you for recognizing that and removing!! Can't wait for this to hit the market. Oh - I will be needing one of these for my S&W M&P10 too!!

Wow! Everytime I finally decide on one of your rails you come out with one I like more.
And the usual -- AR10B version too? |
|
this would pair up great with all those skeletal parts out there. totally digging this.

Pete: Nice work, I like the abbreviated top rail. Just curious, MI now makes handguards with both Keymod and M-lok attachment systems. Do you see these two systems as competing for the same market, or do they each serve a different application? I already invested in a Keymod HG, so I'm interested in a growing market of Keymod accessories. Having two standards for the same purpose usually means the market eventually picks one as best and shuns the other. What do you think?
Also, I highly recommend MI change its barrel nut design to one that doesn't require indexing for the gas tube or handguard. See the SLR Solo line or the BCM KMR line for examples. I tightened my new SLR handguard to exactly the right torque with a simple crescent wrench. The gas tube passed over the top of it unhindered. - CW |

When I designed these I made them for both systems so who ever purchases can pick either M-LOK or keyod and basically get the same hand guard but with out giving anything up as far as features.
Our nut design is proven and at this time we will not be redesigning it. thank you TROY MI |

Seems that the handguard will be slightly lighter, but waiting on that detail to drop still. |

Nice . I like it . Guess I have to get another build goin so I can get it haha. (Already have the 10" mctar24g2.. great product)

Pete, these really look great. Can't wait to try one on my new build.

I have been shopping for a rail and was about to buy the new BCM, but I am going to wait to see how this one feels before I make a decision.

I hate you guys so much. Just be glad your other new M-LOK system hasn't released yet or I'd have been PISSED
My only complaint is that there isn't enough real estate for a Kryptek paintjob to show up |

So it appears you're also incorporating a flip up front sight?

Estimated price for the 12" and the 15"? Will there be any other colors?
|
|
Is it just me, or can you easily burn your fingers on the barrel through the openings on the 45s?
|
|
Whats the inside diameter gonna be on these? I want to run a short barrel with my Saker(1.5") underneath the 15".
Thanks JC |

Quoted: I.D is 1.300 Thanks Troy MI View Quote I don't like my hand in front of the muzzle anymore than the next guy (handstops), but partially shrouded has a nice feel. ehh or whatever. PS. Great design, lighter than the keymod and seemingly lots of ventilation but with integrated QD and no peens on my rifle. This is the goodness for unsuppressed rifles. |

I agree with the post above. Love all my MI rails but have had to gravitate away due to such small ID's. Wanting to pic up one of these to replace a troy on an "spr" and if they made one similar with 1.8" ID I would be all over it.
|
|
We have some other designs with larger diameters. These will be coming down the road .

|
Troy, can you get an X300 and a front sight to fit on the forward rail section?
|
|
I would say absolutely yes . There is enough rail up there to fully support a folded front sight.

Sooo... it's been almost 4 weeks....
I'm waiting very impatiently. Is there a chance I could get a second M-LOK rail section if they're not available before the rail is? |
|
Things are about to happen very quickly once a package arrives. Thank you all for your patience.
TROY MI |
|
Are you going to have a 15" available too or not for a while?
|
|
I love this .... I will be getting one for sure... Love the look
|

Ordered 2
I hope I can get more M-LOK rail sections soon. Wish these came with two instead of one... |
|
Ordered!
Can't wait till you get the S&W M&P10 lightweight MLOK too! cheers tire iron |
