Looks to be another option, particularly if you'd prefer a more common pistol grip angle.  You should be able to easily cut an actual thumbhole in this if you're not behind enemy lines:

Option Zero, from Survivor Systems

ETA:  Not sure how they're handling the safety detent spring.  Emailed them, will see what they say.

Ah:  http://survivorsystems.com/pages/installation-tips

It will undoubtedly break when you uninstall the stock from a normal receiver, so keep that in mind.

Won't break, but this won't work for our purposes, unless you glue the stock to the pistol grip.  It would have the advantage that you could choose to cut an area out of the plastic stock, rather than the rear of the aluminum jig.  If you're cutting & gluing things, you might as well cut that magazine well w/ release out of the stock and glue it on to the front of the jig...

@JoshAston had a suggestion - Airsoft shells.

So I've ordered this:

They have a 50% off ground shipping code, so you don't pay more for the shipping than the item.

Let's see if we can cram a trigger jig into an Airsoft shell.  My Dremel skilz are horrific, but super glue restores all.

Several years back, I modified an AirSoft magwell to take an AR mag, so it can be done:

And here we are - not quite long enough for bayonet drill:
