Now that would be an irony...opposite numbers for almost 40 years - Colt making a Kalashnikov, or Kalashnikov making an AR15 variant - inconceivable! I think Mikhail is only making labels for his brand of Vodka these days anyway.  Guess he has outlived Stoner though, although both of their legacies will live on for many years to come. |

I am a Huge fan of Colt.
 So's my ex-wife... I had to sell off all (4) of my pre-ban Colt ARs when I got divorced (5) years ago.  I'm hoping to get at least (1) new Colt AR within the next couple of months. |

Ok count me in, if owning only one AR counts as an afficionado???
I have one Colt LE6920 and two more colts on order...... I really like other Brands, it just happened that Colt had the models I wanted sooner than I could get the other brand that I was eyeing up....... |

Me too, I loves me some Colts . Got five green labels and love 'em all. I wish fans of other types/makes of ARs wouldn't take such offense when Colt fans shout out their love for Colt. They're all good in their own way, and each has their merits. I NEVER shit on other AR brands; in fact, I own (or have owned) pretty much all of 'em. YMMV

Not really a Colt fan, but I love the AR15. I dont believe Colt makes a product far above and beyond Bushy, DPMS or RRA, but without question a Colt will hold it's value better than any other AR15...
