Hey qd4gtz, I want a short barrelled upper in .45 acp like the one in your video. Where can I get one? Oh, an I will need it to shoot full auto. Thanks.

I picked this one up used off subguns.com. I'd check w/ olyarms to see if they have any available. I would think they could cut down the barrel and switch carriers for you w/o much delay. If I see any others listed I'll email ya. |

It's not really a problem of getting them working. It's finding the time and desire to do them. Money is a good motivator, but not at the moment. I just bought a mill and accessories to do any notches "in house". I sent off about 6 to be parked. Something F'ed up since I set up in the garage. Need to make a few mods to the follower jig. Arghh I need a 30 hour day and more sleep.

So how'd you modfiy the follower? Just grind the side down, or make an internal shaft the spring goes around?

I made a mandrel that I could clamp it on, heated red hot, and beat it into submission.

Made my own today...very rough, a learning process!! Just need to go out to the range for a function test. Only got 26 rounds in it too, but still better than 10!

Weld another to the bottom of the first. It will make you feel better.  I've currently got three that are not spoken for. It's getting to be a pain to try going back through the emails to find people who expressed interest. At this point everyone should keep their eyes on the EE ar15 mags board. My next batch will be 47rd mags only. |
