Disregard, the other threads are in GD.

Don't worry about the rifles, worry about the ammo. We're fucked.

7.62 x 39? Isn't PSA going to start manufacturing some?

Sure, but no way in hell are they going to make a dent in what 4 Russians factories churned out. There's a shortage coming when the current Russian contracts run out. Losing Serbian ammo on top of that is just going to make it even worse.

Stack it deep. Sell your living room furniture and use ammo crates for furniture

@-Apocalypto-

When do the Russian contracts run out? When will we stop seeing Russian ammo?

@_DR

Historically speaking, prices seem high other than the recent pandemic prices.

Is it worth it to stack deep right now?

If there is a settlement over Ukraine in say a couple of years, I'm guessing our gov will let Russian ammo be imported again.

Didn't the Wagner Group come across a huge amount of firearms and ammo in Ukraine but ignored it. I'm guessing a lot of the ammo was 7.62x39. AFAIK, both sides are using 5.45.

Don't know, I would think soon though. A ammo retailer would know more.

Approved form 6s are good for two years I think.

So my guess is sometime in 2024 is when it stops.

Just perused the article. Sounds like plenty of stuff us enthusiats would love to acquire. I'm guessing Mosins, 7.62x54 ammo, 7.62x39 ammo, pistols, etc.

Maybe we can import some of this stuff in the future if the war ends.

Someone was telling me they want the diaspora back.

Oddly, that's the ethnicity I look like despite only being 25%.

Dudes,

We have other sources for AK ammo in 7.62x39. Steel cased and brass cased.

S&B Czech
Bosnia (Igman)
Arsenal of Bulgaria
Azerbaijan (Telex)
Kyrgyzstan https://www.sgammo.com/product/bsp-ammo/20-round-box-corrosive-762x39-122-grain-fmj-lacquered-steel-case-bsp-ammo-made-kyrg

Soon we will have PSA in the mix. I am not worried. 5.45x39 will come back as well.

My supply of 7x64 Brenneke is still in "danger".
Havent found dies as of yet and Prvi is the only regular producer.

Remington has done runs, but i doubt it is on their current short list.
