I'd like to buy a gas block with bayonet lug for a Saiga conversion.

Would it pay to buy American as far as 922r is concerned?

It would count but combloc parts should be used if possible. 922r compliance can be achieved with magazine, FCG, furniture, muzzle device...... which are all easily swapped if you catch my drift.

No. Barrel components don't count towards 922r

Rarely does it pay to care about 922r.

The simple and correct answer is no. Just keep in mind there is no approved standard for marking US-made components that I've ever been able to find. Years ago, I bought US-made AK parts that were stamped US, Made in US, USA, Made in USA, Made in TX/AZ/etc., by stamping, etching, electropencil, etc. One just had a sticker.
