I'm still kicking myself for missing black friday. Any chance they'll be on sale again anytime soon?
|
|
Should have my stock when I stop by the mail box on the way home this morning. Got my barrel extension, pistol grip and trigger group. I'll be ready to mount the stock pretty soon. Just have to find a friend with a drill press, or go buy one from Harbor Freight.
Will post my thoughts on it here once I have it in hand. I hope it's nice! |

The stock with the Stormwerkz hinge was delivered yesterday. I guess the next step is to send off my Draco to someone to have it engraved, then when I get that back to start work on the paperwork (Form 1) to submit to the BATF.

Totally forgot to check back!
I haven't mounted the hinge yet... gotta get the faux suppressor "permanently" attached. I have some silver solder for that. The triangle stock is simple and solid. It rings if you tap something hard on it. I think it's well made and will work fine! |

What would it take? |

If anyone is wondering apex gun parts has the manticore triangle stock and a stormwerkz hinge combo for $160 and about $10 shipping they also have the detent and spring for m92 to attach a muzzle device. I picked all three items up for 183.30 shipped next purchase is going to be a barrel extension and then finally a g2 trigger and magpul grip for 922r. Still don't have the pistol but I will shortly

If I wanted to be a wimp and use a pad with the stock (bare metal on shoulder isn't the most comfortable) what are my options?
|
|
GP-25 recoil pad
Use one of these, and it will be authentic. I bought one from these guys and it works great on the MA stock. Out of stock right now though. |
|
Thanks... I'm fine with non-authentic if it's cheaper and in stock but works well
|
|
The GP-25 recoil pad is the way to go if you want a rubber buttpad, and it fits the Triangle Stock perfectly.

Mine didn't come with any directions, diagram, or info regarding the procedures to mount it properly. View Quote The machine screws go through the holes in the stock and into the threaded holes in the hinge. The large side of the hinge with the threaded holes attaches to the stock, the small side of the hinge with the slots bolts to the receiver |

What size are the holes I drill in the receiver? I'm guessing I need to thread them or do I use bolts to attach the hinge? If threaded, what size and type?
Sorry if I missed the info reading the thread. |

drill and tap 10-32 holes with a center to center of .625
Use a #18 drill / .1695 |

Good grief!!! No one carries a #18 bit. Lowers, Home Depot, harbor freight, ace, etc.....
