Almost 71 years old so I figured I needed to downsize somewhat.   On the advice of one of you here I took some rifles and ammo to Hessney for auction. I can't believe the prices people are paying for anything firearm related.  This was definitely the way to go. No price haggling, no background check and premium pricing.
I'm happy with my results.

Two Mosin Nagants, a few tuna cans of the 7.62x 54R ammo, Mec jr shotgun reloading press and some misc supplies.    
Hated to part with the Mosins but with prices being so high it was the right time. I'm good on ammo and reloading supplies for the rest of the calibers I shoot - for now and will spend the money on restocking when (if) prices come down. Been through these outages a few times in the past 30 years.

I managed to buy a few things, but even abject crap was bringing obscene prices AND 13% on top of that! (don't forget to add in 8% Sales Tax too)
Several of my Friends and other Dealers have listed stuff with Joe (Hesney) and generally done pretty well....down side to buying is they don't always do a good job of describing and taking pictures...after I got fucked over on a Remington Gun Case that looked great outside but was smashed to shit inside, (omitted in pictures) I said no more, so buyer be ware.
