Damn. Looks and sounds like they worked over that one guy pretty good.
So what about the cameras they're always touting they've got downtown? Article made it sound like they'd "try" to get footage. It shouldn't be that difficult. From the description it sounds like a group of rich SU kids. Maybe even ROPers. |

The attackers were Middle Eastern but the news isn't reporting it. I have a mutual friend with the victim.

Doesn't make any sense They did go to the hospital that night and thought he was fine but the next day he started slurring his speech and his balance was off so they sought medical help. As for the police I don't have any details on that. |

Some assholes trying to fuck with a bum to throw the video up on youtube ended up in a fight with these guys when the guys who got beat up told them to knock it off. Doesn't seem that bizarre. The only part I thought was weird was that two young guys got in a fight and when the other four guys took off they didn't take any video or photo with a phone.
edit oh the guys who got beat up went up and rapped on the window and asked why the other guys were filming, okay that was a visit from the bad idea fairy  guess it started earlier, hermmmm hmmm |

appearance ticket for assault third after putting a guy in the hospital, doesn't sound like the cops were too impressed with the case after talking to the attackers and seeing the video. Sounded like A2 from the injuries

Pure speculation here, but maybe the two that turned themselves in did not do the skull fracturing.
Still, gang assault seems to fit for somebody... A person is guilty of gang assault in the second degree when, with intent to cause physical injury to another person and when aided by two or more other persons actually present, he causes serious physical injury to such person or to a third person. Gang assault in the second degree is a class C felony. |

It will be interesting to see what happens but without a doubt, the odds were against the two from the beginning and IMO, they should have just kept walking. BUT I'm not young (or drunk)! |
