And everyone who does protection for a government agency will tell you...you do it to protect the office....not the person in office. When you do this work, who sits in the seat doesn't matter.....our job is to make sure that office never experiences a loss. Sometimes you just happen to like the person, sometimes you don't.
I had one protectee I could not stand their views politically. However, personally, they were the nicest, most generous and considerate protectees I have ever had. |

There's much more to it than that; You see if you're not on the "inside" then you are on the outside looking in. While you're "inside" you can see what's really going on, motivate, encourage, and dissuade others all while earning more money that will allow you to work against them later. Who do you think the politician is going to pay more attention to; the guy IN his Office or the rabble protesting in the square?
