What are the laws regarding AK's in NY? I want to buy a new vector arms milled AK and permanently affix a muzzle brake on it. Is the law the same as in regards to AR's? AK with a  fixed stock, no bayo lug, no flash hider, and pre ban mags would be legal in NY? I know they are mentioned by "AK" in the NY AWB.

same as old fed ban

prebans are ok if you want the evil features

post bans in AWB compliant config are fine (welded on muzzlebreaks, fixed stock, no bayonet lugs, etc etc).

preban mags are ok also
