I suppose the thing to do then, is get a count, find out where everyone is coming from, find a site convenient to all.
I figured Manhattan was good, because of the difficulty for someone on LI to get to upstate and vice-versa. NJ to LI is no treat either. |

Anything in the Bronx? A little north of the Cross Bronx Expy allows the Jersey guys to come across the GW and the LI guys to hit the Throggs NecK or Whitestone.
Alternate could be The Willet House in Port Chester....10 miles further north on I95 from the Island and 5 mins off I287 so the upstate and Jersey Guys could use the Tappan Zee...Also, we might mention this in the New England forum cause any guys in SW Connecticut are only across the border. Also, Manero's is just a few miles into Ct in Greenwich. |

Are we ever gonna pick a place and a date or just keep talking about places and dates?

Sheeeesh! You all sound like a bunch of old wash women! At this rate the cow will die of old age before it can be served up for dinner...Why doesn't some moderator or staff type person make a command decision and pick a date, a time, and a place and get this thing rolling!
Just don't pick a date that I'm working.

Well, we USED to be able to put together events without too much waffling.....Staff isn't "supposed" to act directly in such things..that's for Team Members and Mods...What happened to the Much Beloved By All Moderator that we used to have?  Okay, I'll deputize- mag162, it was your idea, pick the place, date and time...those that make it do, those that can't, don't. Simple. |

Since its up to me, We start at the top of the food chain Peter Lugars in Greenpoint....last tuesday of the month March 28th. Its cash only at Peter Lugars. Next month, April 25th we move to Jersey close to the river, Then in May we head north into Westchester on May 23 which is the tuesday before Memorial day week-end. Those are the dates. See you there

Hey, Mag and I are meeting at the Outback in Bay Terrace tomorrow, Tuesday the 28th at around 7-730. I know it's not Lugers or Mortons but screw it, we want to go out.
I have to work over time till 630 or 7(we have a back log of at least 175 guns that need test firing) then it shouldn't take me too long to get from Yonkers to the Outback. So, if anyone wants to come down, just look for two big guys with crew cuts talking about guns. |
