I am suggesting:

Tuesday, February 28, 2006

When:  The Usual Time

Place:  The Tailgate Bar and Grill on Washington.

The guy likes us.  He is remodeling and has invited us.  He also has hookups for our lap-tops so we can play machingun videos on the projector TV.

I had to move the date- I have a hearing the next day and a bunch of people IM'd me saying that they wuold be out of town.

I'll try my best to make it, but that is a fair ways travel on a weeknight for this outer suburbanite.

OT, I got the scope mounted, and am heading out to the range to give it a try despite the relatively unfavorable wind conditions....the windsock at the airstrip 100 yards west of our house shows at least a 10 MPH crosswind.     I should at least be able to get it on paper with the short distances available at my local range.

Got a link or map for the new resident?  I am trying to get into the IPSC mathes on Tuesday evenings at ASC, sounds like this may be close.

ASC is south west of Houston, Tail gate is pretty central.

About 20 minutes from the ASC.

Doctor doesn't think I ever got over the bug I had around New Year's. I'd guess it's probably because I should have rested instead of heading out to the Shoot!....

So, I was having this dry cough for about 3 weeks, then.....it became a weakening croupy bastard...

So, the doc first said "Some kind of lung infection, at least bronchitis...might be pneumonia"

Then they checked my Blood-Oxygen levels.  Nurse comes in and sticks a hypo in my ass, they send me for chest x-ray letting me know that the steriods and the antibiotics they are putting me on and the shot will take care of the pneumonia ...if the xray shows more, we'll call you or call in another prescription.

So, it' could probably have something to do with me working 80 hours a week, traveling constantly, and not taking care of myself.....

Nah, can't be that.

dare i say...

booze and fat?
you could stand to loose a couple pounds mr coz.

Guys, just an update.  I will most likely not be able to attend the dinner.  However I will make sure the shirts make it there, they will all be labeld (with a tag) with the owners name, so that they can be handed out.  We can work out payment later.  Just realized (although I never forgot the date) that our wedding anniversary falls on the same date.  Family first.  I will try to give COZ the box of shirts labeled, ready to be handed out that night.  Thanks for your patience with this.  Be sure to let me know if I need to hold your shirt back so that it can be shipped to you.  Thanks again.

*UPDATE*

Now I may or may not be there Tuesday night.  We have decided to use Saturday as our date night since someone will watch our daughters then.  Regardless here's some pics of the shirts in progress.

If you guys ever need any more apparel, even hats and mousepads, you name it, my friend's business does it all.  I've tried to give him as much business as I can find, since they (his business) are a start up company, it's always good to help a friend out.  They're in Toronto Canada.

the name tags are blank, as we decided that would be the easiest route, to let you customize it.  All you'd need is a permanent marker and it will absorb into the pressed label used for each shirt.

Possibly.  I have one XL in Black for me, but I can order another one when I get another shipment of some shirts I'm having him make for me.
