What is the best sight route to go? I would like to see CO and OR.

I'm driving there to deliver a truck to my friends brother that is coming back from Iraq.  He's been over there for almost 2 years.

287 to I-70.
Takes you to CO and through Utah.
Drop down to Moab Utah and see the Arches and Canyonlands.

 Yep...Or go through CO to Yellowstone to Salt Lake to Oregon and head north to Seattle...depending on what you want to see.

 Sounds good.  

 From Yellowstone to Mt Rushmore is not that far out of the way, and from Grand Canyon to Death Valley NP is not that far either.
