A friend of mine bought a 6920 this past weekend, but he doesn't care for the factory trigger; he is spoiled on really nice bolt action rigs.  MMMV

I thought that it might be a good idea to ask what folks are running, and try to arrange a range shoot [Houston] where we can all benefit by trying a cross section of what is available in the marketplace.  I can bring a RRA 2-stage equipped M4gery,  6601 and [his] 6920 Colts, and probably a factory Bushy M4 loaner.

Does anyone have a CMC, KAC or other that would like to throw some lead downrange?

Thanks.

I typically shoot at Hot Wells since it is only 1 1/2 miles from my house, but we can be flexible.  We may go out this weekend, but haven't picked a day/time...again, flexible.

Definitely NFA friendly for cans/SBR; I confirmed this personally with the range owner before our last arfcom shoot there.  We had one guy [I can't remember his name offhand, since it was the first time we met] bring one out that time without any problems; just make sure that you have your paperwork with you, and volunteer it to them for most proper protocol.  ABSOLUTELY NOT NFA FRIENDLY REGARDING FA!

To get there take 290 towards Austin a couple exits past SH6/FM1960, exit Skinner Rd., U-turn under the highway, and make a right turn off the feeder about 1/2 mile down; there is a range/CHL class sign that you can't miss if your eyes are open.

HW only has 100 yards maximum range.  I have a QD AP M3, if you care to try it.
