According to a magazine , a fellow from that place "might" have secured a deal to bring in the Chiappa M1 carbine lookey likey in .22.
Big news, hold the front page, he "might" be bringing them in, it's completely newsworthy. As for the mag, I get it free and don't read it, J-J has just flicked through it and said its total shite What a woman |
|
Surely if anyone is interested in an M1 in .22 they would probably already have discovered Ermas?
Guess he wont be selling too many, or is there something 'special' about them? (special in reference to the rifles, not the importer.. although i'm guessing some might like to apply this to the aforementioned company...) |

Just what I was thinking and what sort of quality product does Chiappa make? |

Thought i read on here a while ago that a dealer down sarff has straight pull 30 M1 carbines for sale soon ?

I think you're all missing the point,
It's not whether one is better than the other, it's that Shooting Sports has made an announcement that someone "might" be bringing them in. Hardly stop press stuff now, is it?
|

The worst part of shooting sports , is that its "shiny" paper....much the same as the old "Izal".

Nah, that's your point, my point is that I'd rather have an Erma, or even an airsoft gun before I bought anything from the new Plum Probably a slow news month, and by their webshite they're taking orders for delivery at the end of Jan, whilst I was there I noticed that they took the pictures of them making a mess of Century out of their gallery too |

That's over $2000 and for that you could get a very very nice fully functional original or maybe three auto ordnance new builds.

Probably costs that much, as these ones will have no gas port, and not just soft soldered closed like Cotswolds

Personally I wouldn't but anything from any company that sells "bullet heads"

That wont last. I made a full lenght piston (with shortened shaft) to fill out the cylinder and then soldered the lock screw in place. The original gas port drilling was made at an angle down through the back part of the threads for the lock screw. Solder is quickly blown out if the the cylinder is not blocked completely.
Probably costs that much, as these ones will have no gas port, and not just soft soldered closed like Cotswolds And that concludes the nerd-lesson for today. Soren eta: new word |

You know that opinions contrary to those of the shooting gestapo will force the whinge factor up. What company are we talking about anyway? I have still not sussed out who we are trying not to advertise. I quite like the name "Ball Bag Rifle Co" FWIW. If I ever get my RFD I will call myself BBRC if it has not already been taken. |

Is the 'gentleman' in question's cowardly, lying, two-faced cuntishness a general thing, or does he reserve it for only a few people?

I can see it now 'Chunky Monkey Firearms, Pies and Ice Cream' for the more decerning chunky northern shooter.
