Not sure how many on here have Senator Mike Shower as their State Senator, but he is also aware of this issue.  He is not happy about it, and he is in talks with the Dunleavy Administration.  If you have specific ideas and solutions to help him present a positive argument to the wonderful individuals in Dunleavy's Administration that are responsible for this mess, please help Senator Shower.

BTW, did anyone see Mike Shower's floor speech the other night when he was the only Senator to vote against the budget?  Wow...I felt bad for the guy.

While this might be a good idea on the surface, it is not reasonable.  There are a lot of us that can hunt bears close to our homes, with out going against the travel bans.  On the plus side, a lot of black bears are taken after May and into June.  Will have to see how this all plays out!!1

Exactly, I can be from house to boat in under 2 miles. Bait season here ends June 15 so he has pretty much   MAYBE given us two weeks out of two months.

There are ways to reduce contact with fish and game. Doing hide/skull drop off, or suspending the seal requirement altogether even for the time being would limit exposure. Make this a resident only hunt of course, but dont blanket statement us all.
