Found a tan Glock 19x box with two mags at the range this morning July 23
Text me your serial number of the pistol
(it’s on the outside of the box ) and I’ll tell you where to pick it up .

Nice offer, but I'd turn it in to the local police station. You're likely in possession of a firearm that's been reported as stolen/missing.

I interpreted it to mean that he found the box, with two mags, and no firearm.
The serial# on the pistol, which the owner has, will match the # on the box, for verification of who owns it.
