1. 1.5" pvc pipe
2. electric tape
3. bent nail/pull trigger (releases ball when pulled)
4. 1.5" pvc connector
5. 1.5" to 1/2" adaptor
6. 1/2" pvc pipe or hallow metal broom handle
7. electric tape
8. mentos release trigger (optional for mentos mortar)
9. top less bottle cap (used to screw mortar to bottle)
10. soda bottle
11. instant lemonade (used in place of citric acid)
12. baking soda
13. glove, balloon, or condom (used to hold water)
14. 1.5" foam golf balls (ammo)
steps to fire lemonade mortar.
1. take dry bottle, pour in one 8oz packet of lemonade (or citric acid)
2. Pour in one large teaspoon of baking soda, mix thoroughly.
3. stick glove in bottle, fill it with approximately 1/2 cup of water without letting any spill into the bottle.
4. twist the open end of the glove several times, drop it into the bottle.
5. screw mortar onto bottle, insert ball below nail to hold it in place.
6. shake bottle to release the glove, shake bottle to mix water with acid/soda mixture
7. wait for pressure to build, pull pin to release ball
8. several more shots can be fired in rapid succession if you use a ram rod to reload the barrel.
