Any recommendations on a dealer near the downtown area that might have USP Compact 9mm mags in stock? I need a couple 13 rounders and would like to check out some of the local dealers. I'm aware I can get them from online but like to support local gun business every now and again.

A couple of shows back Tross out of Dundee had a lot of USP and USPc mags for sale at their table. I picked up several used hicap mags for under $25 each. These appeared to be police trade ins with no wear marks I could find and the springs were good.

I understand about the show coming up. This was seriously not an attempt at a sly WTB ad in the Hometown Forum. I just need to check out some of the local dealers and thought I might as well go with a purpose. My favorite dealer up in the Seattle area had everything *but* 9mm compact mags.

Try Northwest Armory out towrds Oregon City...don't know for sure but last time I was there they had A LOT of everything.

Shooters Service Center stocked some HK stuff last time I was there, but that was over a year ago.

There's a LEO place in SE portland on Sandy I think........I bought a USP holster there once.

I ended up finally going here last Saturday. They did in fact have them and seemed to have a pretty good supply of various magazines. The prices on the HK mags were about the same as online vendors but with no tax or shipping.  I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to their other inventory. Sometimes I force myself to have "blinders on" when in fun stores. Their hours could definitely be a little more working man friendly but all in all it was a fine shopping experience. |
